Headline
Definitely have to disagree with the last sentence.
Simple? Give me a break.
No it's all hard work and continual perfecting. Article marketers who focus more than 10% of their time on just that will never succeed.
Just look at some who have tried, a couple dozen clickthroughs on the majority of their articles is common.
Don't believe me, just go to EA and check out a few and look at their stats.
It's because they pump out substandard fluff simply for the sake of pumping out another article.
Quality not quantity wins in the end. Put your focus on keyword focused content pages on YOUR OWN WEBSITE!
Use articles to supplement your inbound links and write them with a presell attitude which will convert your clickthroughs much better when they get to the real meat which should be your own site.
If you're sending them to a splash, opt in/capture, or sales page then you are simply helping give the Net the bad name we are trying to recover from.
In the end quality content that gives people what they are really looking for will win. Cheap up and quick articles frankly suck.
Don't believe me? Look at EA and check out the majority of the authors with tons of articles. A bunch of junk, plain and simple.
Cheers,
